What's the big deal anyways?

As dangerous and life threatening as this situation sounds if you were a slave, Spartacus inspired thousands of slaves. He did the impossible and showed slaves that they can do anything. After the first defeat, many others ran away to join him. His army quickly grew. Starting off from 70 people to over 100,000 people! In later years to come, he would be captured in 70 BC and killed. After his death came, many slaves were inspired by him and the great and risky deed that he'd done. In the future, this revolt helped other slaves keep their heads up and have hope.
