Why did I choose this topic?

The reason that I chose Spartacus was because I've heard and seen a few movies about him and found myself very intrigued to what he did and how well-known he became after his slave revolt. Spartacus opened minds of other slaves and gave them hope. His story shows that you can do anything and overcome anything that tries to get in your way.
